Loupewise for Dealers & Bench Trade

Every parcel
comes in documented.

Last updated: August 2026

Scrap with stones still in it, a parcel of closeout goods marked “amethyst”, salvage pulled before the metal goes for melt. Property-based intake that does not depend on who is working the counter today.

How a parcel gets worked

A labeled example workflow — this is the intended use, not a customer story.

Step 1

Read, then eliminate

Get the RI and it tells you where on the charts to look. That is the room’s own doctrine, not a pitch: identification is a process of elimination, and the engine runs it across 132 species instead of across a memory of them. Two readings usually leave one or two candidates.

Step 2

Separate genuine, synthetic and simulant

The three-way distinction is the one that moves money, and it is the one a thermal tester cannot settle on its own. Run the two-phase natural-versus-synthetic protocol and the simulant checks on anything consequential, and mark what still needs a lab.

Step 3

Write down what you established

Output is a hedged candidate set — “candidates include”, “consistent with” — because naming a stone at take-in is a commitment. Bulk sessions export a consolidated report with lot numbers; single stones get a client-ready PDF.

The pieces that matter for dealers & bench trade

Bulk identification

Lot-numbered batch sessions built for parcels and consignments, exportable to CSV.

Examination reports

PDF/HTML reports from any session — observations, candidates, photos, your examiner details. White-label on Team.

Loupewise for Teams

$49/month flat for the whole counter — shared sessions, role-based access, audit trail, branded reports.

Separation guides

Worked separations for the pairs that actually arrive in a parcel — diamond simulants, ruby and spinel, natural versus synthetic.

Pro for one desk, Team for the counter

Identification and the full candidate list are free. Nat/syn protocols, treatment checks and report export are Pro (7-day free trial). Team is $49/month flat for the whole staff — no per-seat fees.

Read the limits: this is not AI and not a photo valuation — it reads measurements you take, and it will not price anything. It is a field identification and documentation tool, indicators and candidates, not certifications. SG is unreliable on mounted stones, and a thermal tester is best used to confirm an opinion rather than as a final authority. For consequential stones, refer to an accredited laboratory. Run the next parcel through it

Start the trial, work five stones, and see whether the intake sticks.
